Nigerian gospel musician and producer Tim Godfrey warns and at the same time advices to stop expecting an apology.
The musician tweeted on twitter a warning message which on the other side serves as an advice.
Stop expecting an apology,
Stop giving them another chance, Stop torturing yourself.
WALK away! It’ll be ok. I promise!
Stop expecting an apology,
Stop giving them another chance, Stop torturing yourself.
WALK away! It’ll be ok. I promise!— Dr. Tim Godfrey (@timgodfreyworld) November 6, 2020
In life, disappointments are like air we breath. We meet them everywhere and at the peak where we less expect them are where they occur most. People may do us wrong even when we have not offended them in anyway.
It is part of life and until we learn to admit to forget, we become our own slaves. Yes! “Mental slavery”. Something that enslaves you mentally due to your own decision not to let go.
When someone offends you and you decide to worry over it for long, you enslave your mind and this causes you to live life everyday expecting the offender to come and say sorry for what he or she did. The question is,
What will that do to you?
And if it will do something to you and the apology is not coming, will you kill yourself over it? The person who offended you is not boarded over what he or she did to you. So why die over apology? Just walk away and set your boundary!
Stop expecting an apology,
Stop giving them another chance, Stop torturing yourself.
WALK away! It’ll be ok. I promise! – Tim Godfrey
This is very good. We love it when our celebrities influence us this way. I believe this post will free someone today and in the days to come.
