Fans reacted that the worldwide known dancehall artiste Popcaan deserves nominations in every edition of the Grammy awards because he has really contributed to the modern phase of the Jamaican dancehall music.

They further stated that, the dancehall music has influenced rap music that receives more nominations and awards for artistes.

A fan with username @shesafinegirl lamented that;

“You are all great artistes, some even legends. However, they never acknowledge the other side of reggae/dancehall that is also having a major impact on the world”.

When the dancehall “dawgs” flame, no one can quench. Another fan of the artiste with username @wbt_empire voiced;

“Bro they should just cancel grammy at this point.
No Kartel, no Popcaan, no The Weeknd (like seriously) and Justin Bieber made a RnB album and it was nominated as pop album. Grammys are lame. Your music doesn’t need grammys to be recognized so don’t pay them no mind mi G!”

For sometime now, Popcaan has been sending dancehall music globally and we wish him well in the future editions of the Grammy awards. He deserves more of that!
