Ghanaian Artiste Of The Year award winner of Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMAs 2020), Kuami Eugene perfectly delivered the chorus as usual with his great vocal skills.
Keche duo lead singer Andrew came in with a powerful vocalizing voice, saying;
“You have been sad for no reason”
“Don’t you know that this is our season?”
“You’re praying so i fall? You’re dreaming”
“The more you hate, the more I do”
“Your bad thoughts for me didn’t work”
“Don’t you know that God is in control?”
The song later introduced rapper Joshua of Keche duo, saying;
“so are you able to sleep with all these hatreds in you?”
He further stated that;
“Despite the good deeds, people are still not appreciative.”
“So forget your worries and dance because everyone is a debtor.”
This song by Keche is perfectly connected to this therapy.
Creating music, whether merely strumming a guitar or composing lyrics to a song can help you express and process your emotions. It’s more about how it makes you feel than how it sounds. Remember that no one ever has to hear your music if you don’t want them to. It can be felt that there is a swing in the drums. Drum instruments like shakers, reverb snare, breakers and ride with stereo delay effect are occasionally introduced to recall emotions and make sure the beat does not get into one direction. Synths such as Pad, LD and Arpeggiator were used to blend the drums to call happy emotion.
Music can stop you from feeling lonely or isolated. Whether it’s sharing playlists with your friends or meeting new like-minded people at your favorite band’s next gig, music connects people.
Music is an essential tool in mood management and can be used on a daily basis to heal people whether they are struggling with their emotions or a mental health disorder; “No Dulling” has the potential to bring great joy, relieve stress and enable self-expression. What song or type of music gives you back your strength and happiness when you are feeling down? How does music help calm you after a difficult time? Does singing a song or playing an instrument help elevate your mood?
For example, afrobeat music has been found to cause comfort and relaxation while other music may lead to discomfort. Music may achieve its therapeutic effects in part by elevating the pain threshold. Whether an individual is passively listening to music, playing an instrument or singing a song; there is indeed a healing power to music.
Keche No Dulling is never fading, you know why?
It has a healing power (Sad mood to Happy mood) anytime you play it.
