South African musician Cassper Nyovest has discredited South Africa Music Awards (SAMAs) as a corrupted award scheme which has no value.
The reason being that, previously, artistes were very hungry for SAMAs but now, awards from this scheme do not mean anything to South African artistes due to it’s corruptive engagements.
Do people even remember who won the SAMAs last year? That used to be the biggest and most important award for artist. Now it doesnt mean anything. You know why ? Corruption, they thought they were bigger than the artists. They disconnected from the culture. It’s all rigged. Dead!

Cassper Nyovest added that, artistes who won awards from the South Africa Music Awards scheme have been totally forgotten and it is very bad happening that way.
According to Cassper, hardworking and award deserving artistes are not honoured awards which are rightfully, supposed to be given to them.

Issues concerning award schemes are very delicate to address. However, we encourage every fan to be very supportive to their favourite artiste and promote their songs rather than fighting for awards for them.
The artistes need you more than the awards so be there for them.
